The XIX National and XIV International Congress of Nursing History, under the compelling theme “Deconstructing the gender of care, taking a stand from the history of nursing,” invites professionals, academics, and students to an essential event dedicated to exploring the historical role of nursing and its significant contributions to building a more equitable and conscious society.
This congress offers a unique platform for discussion and knowledge sharing, aiming to strengthen the professional identity of nurses through a critical and engaged perspective. The event will take place from May 20 to 22, 2026, at the Health Sciences Building of the University of Valladolid, Spain. Valladolid, a city rich in historical and cultural heritage, provides an ideal backdrop for this gathering, encouraging attendees to reflect on the past to transform the present and shape the future of nursing.
The organizing committee has meticulously prepared a provisional program, subject to minor modifications for organizational or logistical reasons. We highly recommend checking the congress website regularly for any updates.
